Having written a number of reviews for coffee machines on this site I was interested to discover if the Gaggia coffee machine was as the Italian manufacturer claimed. Straight away as soon as you take the Gaggia Classic RI8161 out of the packaging the build quality really comes across. The strong construction of the Gaggia Classic RI8161 means it will last forever and looks professional.
On first use I thought the coffee was a bit strong but with a bit of tampering with the density in which you pack the ground coffee into the holder I soon found a perfect balance. The milk frother works well and overall it is simple to knock up a fine cup of your favourite style of coffee.
The coffee machine is made by Gaggia who has deservedly gained much recognition for products like this which they have been building since the 1930s. The current price for the Gaggia Classic RI8161 is £220.00. At this price Gaggia will sell a lot of these due to the impressive build quality and professional looking design. I can recommend this product to anyone wanting to get a new coffee machine.
