The Gaggia classic is a well made coffee machine that has the classic barista styling. It can be used with ground, espresso grade, coffee or coffee capsules. The filter is filled with coffee and placed under the pump which then pushes steam through the coffee granules to produce a fine espresso. Can be used to make one or two cups at a time. The built in milk frother can be used to whip up a fine steamed milk which is suitable for cappuccino and mochas etc. Gaggia is a Italian based company with a deep history in professional coffee making machines dating back to the nineteen thirties when the first patented a design for steam driven espresso making. Since then their coffee machines have continued to impress and the Gaggia classic RI8161 is no exception.
